AnaCap acquires insurance software provider Cleva

Cuatrecasas advised AnaCap, a market-leading private equity investor in the European financial market, on acquiring Cleva, an insurance software provider, from Inetum Group.

Cleva is a major provider of core life, health and non-life insurance software solutions with a complete functional range, from managing policies to risk assessment and customer service. The company is headquartered in Paris, operating predominantly in France and Portugal (with offices in Lisbon and Porto), serving more than 60 insurance carriers and brokers and employing approximately 550 people.

The Cuatrecasas team was headed by private equity lawyers Mariana Norton dos Reis and Francisco Martins Caetano, and it included lawyers Sofia Alves (M&A), Lavínia Pinto Marques (Data Protection) and Fernando Costal Carinhas (Real Estate).
