Total of 108 law students to complete undergraduate internship at Cuatrecasas this summer

During June and July Cuatrecasas has welcomed 108 law students from different Spanish and Latin American universities, who join the firm to pursue their undergraduate internships in the practice area of their choice.

These promising, young lawyers-to-be have joined the work teams of the offices in Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Bogotá, Girona, Lima, Madrid, Málaga, Palma de Mallorca, San Sebastián, Santiago, Seville, Valencia, Vigo and Zaragoza. They spent the first few days taking part in the activities and group dynamics of the Cuatrecasas Welcome Program, which—through different presentations—primarily aims to share the firm’s history and cornerstones, and also the many opportunities offered by its career plan.

The Cuatrecasas colleagues that participated in this edition were: Carlos Mario Arias, Human Resources specialist; Elisabet Calzada, Labor and Employment partner; Idoya Fernández, managing partner of the Knowledge and Innovation Group; Glòria Ruiz, Leticia Casas and Olalla Casielles, Recruitment specialists; and Mar Villora, Litigation and Arbitration junior associate.

This summer the students will have the opportunity to complement their academic legal training by collaborating with lawyers on developing top-level projects in the firm’s Corporate and M&A, Tax, Litigation and Arbitration, and Labor and Employment Practices. At the same time, they will be able to experience the daily activity of a major international law firm.
