We assist our clients with the transition towards decarbonization and the integration of environmental criteria in their activity. Internally, we are committed to achieving net-zero emissions in 2030.
Cuatrecasas accepts and acknowledges (i) the responsibility to proactively manage the impact of its activity on the environment, and minimize and mitigate the adverse effects; and (ii) the role its services play in fighting climate change and in the transition toward a sustainable economy.
We fulfill these commitments by applying basic principles that govern our internal activity and our legal services, as set out in the Cuatrecasas Environmental Policy.
The firm commits to reducing its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and offsetting the emissions not reduced to achieve net zero by 2030.
We measure our carbon footprint according to the specifications laid down in ISO 14064-1:2019, which apply to the whole organization. Acces our 2019-2021 gas emissions report here.
As the first step toward NetZero carbon emissions, we measured our carbon footprint in the 2019–2021 period using an authorized external agency. The outcome of the analysis confirms that we have reduced GHG emissions by 69%. Our new goal is to reduce our footprint by an additional 15% (in the 2020-2022 period).
