Muon Group authorized to register to operate as acquirer in payment system

Cuatrecasas has advised V5 Pte. Ltd. on the authorization process to register the Muon Group, S.A., with the Registry of Unsupervised Acquirers of the Financial Superintendence of Colombia (SFC). This transaction marks a milestone as it is only the third authorization of its type that the SFC has granted in the country.

The registration will allow the Muon Group to start operating in Colombia as an acquirer in the payment system. The process also enabled the company to understand how the country’s payment ecosystem works, as well as to form alliances with participants to offer their services.
