UNACEM Corp and UNACEM Perú secures financing from three banks to enhance operational capacities

Cuatrecasas has advised the UNACEM Group on obtaining major financing totaling S/. 1.5 billion, granted by Banco Internacional del Perú (Interbank), Banco BBVA Perú and Scotiabank Perú. This will enable UNACEM Corp and UNACEM Perú to refinance its short-term loan and optimize its debt profile, strengthening its market-leading position.

The financial support from the three banks breaks down as follows: Interbank, S/. 550 million; Banco BBVA Perú, S/. 458 million; and Scotiabank Perú, S/. 450 million. These unsecured loans represent a vote of confidence in UNACEM Group’s strength and growth potential.
