The Danish cases: CJEU rulings of February 26, 2019

On February 26, 2019, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) ruled on the concept of beneficial owner and the abuse of law in the framework of the European Union (EU) Parent and Subsidiary Directive and the EU Interest and Royalty Directive. This could imply a significant paradigm shift in what has been, until now, the financing and investment structures of international funds in Spain.
