Valentín García represents clients in court in relation to labor matters, judicial reviews and bankruptcy labor issues, having represented the interests of prominent businesses and financing companies in the courts in cases involving restructuring processes, severance of directors, and challenges to agreements. He specializes in occupational risk prevention and the management of work-related accidents (mainly designing prevention management structures, defining liability and assessing injuries).
He advises on collective bargaining (collective dismissals, substantial and geographic amendments and negotiating agreements) and on acquiring companies. He also specializes in advising professional athletes and sports organizations, and in labor issues concerning companies in pre-insolvency and insolvency proceedings, as well as advising bankruptcy administrators.
He coordinates the firm’s Pro Bono Program.
He is advisor to the World Bank on Spanish labor law and vice president of the governing board of the Spanish Association of Labor Lawyers.
He speaks regularly on labor relations at conferences and courses at various business schools and other forums.
