Pilar Pérez-Valenzuela is an expert in succession law, particularly in asset planning for individuals and family businesses.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, she developed her career at leading Spanish law firms.
She is a collaborating lecturer in the degree and double degree courses in law at ESADE Business & Law School, as well as lecturing on asset planning courses at Instituto de Estudios Financieros and on the inheritance law seminar at Universitat Jaume I. She also lectures at the Chair of Family Business at Universitat Abat Oliba CEU.
She lectured in the “Special training course for tax inspectors 2020” (regional government of Catalonia) and is a collaborating lecturer at the associations of economists in Barcelona, Tarragona, Lleida, Girona and A Coruña.
She also gives classes on several courses and masters organized by the Barcelona Bar Association and the Barcelona Association of Notaries Public.
She collaborates with the Chair of Family Business at IESE Business School and with the ADR research department at ESADE Business & Law School. She is a member of the management board of the Catalan Association of Specialists in Succession Law (ACEDS), and she is a member of the civil law section and training coordinator for succession law at the Barcelona Bar Association.
