Paloma Blázquez advises national and international clients on all areas of criminal law related to business. She regularly participates in criminal proceedings involving financial offenses of an international nature.
She has advised public and private companies on internal and procedural investigations, and in relation to investigations carried out by multilateral banks. She also advises national and international companies on international sanctions.
She lectures on international criminal law at Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía. She is the author of several law review articles and publications on topics such as corruption and the World Bank’s sanctions system. She regularly participates on the panel for the ICC Moot Court competition, which simulates the proceedings at the International Criminal Court, organized by the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies at the Hague.
She is a member of Cuatrecasas’s German Desk, advising German-speaking clients.
She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association (2013).
