Kiomi Osorio specializes in M&A, corporate law, financial transactions and banking law, insurance, capital markets and financial regulation. She has advised national and international companies on sophisticated transactions involving multiple jurisdictions related to buying and selling shares and assets, domestic and international securities offerings (under SEC Rule 144A and US Regulation S), traditional and structured finance, project finance and investment funds.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, she worked as an international associate for Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York; she also worked at prestigious law firms in Lima.
She is a member of the Lima Bar Association.
She lectures in the commercial institutions course at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She was also a teaching assistant in the M&A course (2021-0) at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú; teaching assistant in the course on banking law and insurance law at Universidad San Martín de Porres (2010) and teaching assistant in the capital markets course at Universidad de Lima (2010).
She is the author and co-author of several articles and opinions published in law journals and newsletters.
