José María Segovia has extensive experience in Spanish civil and commercial litigation and arbitration.
He is an expert in corporate disputes, including preparing shareholders meetings and boards-of-directors meetings, as well as corporate liquidations.
He has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 2017.
He is an associate lecturer at Universidad Carlos III, lecturing on corporate and capital markets law, and commercial law. He also lectures on corporate law in the Master for Admission to the Practice of Law and Tax Consultancy for Businesses (dual degree) at IE Law School and on directors’ liability in the master program at Centro de Estudios Garrigues. He was a guest lecturer of contracts and torts law at ISDE Law & Business School in Madrid. He is the author of different chapters in collective works on corporate law and posts on the Cuatrecasas sports law blog.
