He specializes in labor and employment law, advising national and international companies on restructuring, outsourcing personnel, hiring and terminating executives, labor contingency planning, employee expatriation agreements, compensation package structures, and bilateral social security agreements.

Jorge García de Presno participates in individual and collective bargaining, and advises companies on implementing their internal policies and protocols.

He also advises on M&A transactions, particularly on due diligence and negotiation processes for signing asset- and share-purchase agreements, and on the drafting of non-compete and confidentiality agreements, and executive remuneration schemes, including stock options and long-term incentives.

He is an expert in advising companies starting operations in Mexico on labor and employment law.

Member of the Mexican Bar Association (member of its Labor Law and Social Security Law Committee, and its foundation’s pro bono program).

Member of the Inter-American Bar Association where he participates in forums and events.

Author of several articles in the Revista de Derecho Laboral (Labor Law Journal).

Contributor to publications on labor matters, particularly employee expatriation.
