Advising on domestic and international civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, and on alternative dispute resolution in different sectors and industries

Consuelo Aravena advises clients on (i) conflict resolution procedures, both in first- and second-instance civil lawsuits, (ii) national and international arbitration, and (iii) procedures before the Chilean concessions dispute board (Panel Técnico de Concesiones).

She has participated in civil lawsuits involving breach of contracts, civil liability and consumer protection, and in insolvency proceedings. She also handles arbitration proceedings involving disputes arising from construction, energy and infrastructure projects, corporate disputes and public-works concession contracts.

Previously, she was an assistant to the chair of procedural law, constitutional law, and Roman law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
