Specialist in advising on the taxation of corporate restructuring transactions; national and international sales; and structuring national and international investments in private-equity, venture-capital and mezzanine vehicles.

Alicia de Carlos advises the managers of these vehicles on their day-to-day business and on the corresponding taxation, also advising on matters such as the remuneration schemes of their professional teams and on their relationship with their investors.

She is also an expert in advising large estates, family groups and senior managers.

She is a member of the board of trustees of the Tax and Competitiveness Foundation and a member of the Barcelona Bar Association.

She is an associate professor in the Master of Laws in Taxation at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.
