Michel Diban joins Cuatrecasas as new partner of Corporate and M&A

Cuatrecasas consolidates its stategic position in Corporate and M&A with the hiring of Michel Diban as a new partner in its Santiago practice. His appointment, approved by the Extraordinary Partners Meeting, will strengthen the formidable M&A team, a practice in constant development, which is experiencing increased activity.

With 18 years of experience, Michel has developed a solid career advising clients on complex transactions, focusing on M&A transactions, particularly in the energy, technology and infrastructure sectors. In recent years, he has led advisory services for all types of acquisitions, sales, mergers and restructurings of Chilean and international companies, both in Chile and other jurisdictions of Iberian America and Europe, such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Spain.

With a Bachelor of Laws (magna cum laude) from Universidad de los Andes de Chile and an LLM from Northwestern University in Chicago, Miguel Diban lectures on M&A in the Master of Laws at Universidad de los Andes; he also speaks regularly at national and international forums. He has been acknowledged as a leading lawyer in the Corporate/M&A category by leading directories such as Chambers & Partners, LatinLawyer, Leaders League, Legal500 and IFLR1000.
