Mariana Campos joins Cuatrecasas as new Finance partner in Mexico City office

Cuatrecasas consolidates its strategic position in Mexico City with the addition of lawyer Mariana Campos as a new partner in its Finance Practice. Her appointment will enable the firm to continue expanding its range of increasingly comprehensive services in Latin America, while confirming its commitment to a particularly important practice area in this region.

With over 20 years of career, she is highly regarded in the field of banking and finance, capital markets, financial regulation and banking transactions. Before joining the firm, Mariana Campos held senior positions in several financial institutions, including that of CLO at Barclays Bank México and Mexico’s Institutional Stock Exchange (BIVA), and vice president–assistant general counsel at Banco J.P. Morgan. She has also worked for acclaimed law firms in Mexico City and New York.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (cum laude) from Mexico’s Ibero-American University (UIA) and a Master’s degree from the New York University School of Law. She also holds a diploma in Finance Law by the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM).
