GAM acquires 60% stake in Mexican company OZMAQ and strengthens position in industrial sector

Cuatrecasas has advised GAM Alquiler Mexico, S.A. de C.V., on acquiring a 60% stake in the Mexican rental and sales company OZMAQ, S.A. de C.V., with an option to purchase the remaining 40%.

This strategic partnership with OZMAQ will strengthen GAM’S position in the Mexican industrial sector, enabling the multinational machinery-related solutions company to consolidate its position in the market. This is a significant step in GAM’s expansion in Mexico, where it has been present since 2008. The acquisition leads to GAM extending its presence to Mexico’s El Bajío region—where the purchased family business was founded in 1983—and thus significantly increasing its business volume.
