Samantha Cyrne also provides advice to French companies with interests in Portugal, in a wide range of activities.
She has advised Mozambican and foreign banks on financing projects in Mozambique, namely in the areas of energy (gas and mining), infrastructure, agriculture, industry and tourism, and on the incorporation and restructuring of Mozambican banks, and their corporate management and regular transactions. Her experience extends to compliance with applicable laws in the areas of investment, foreign exchange control and land rights.
She has extensive experience in the Mozambican legal market. She was a legal consultant at a local law firm in Maputo from 2007 to 2010, and subsequently advised on numerous investment matters and projects in Mozambique from Cuatrecasas’ offices in Lisbon and Porto. She coordinated Cuatrecasas’ activity in that market until 2024.
