Pedro Amat advises on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and joint ventures. He specializes in crossborder investments and business activities, particularly involving the UK, France and Italy.
He mainly advises multinational companies and investment funds on the tax aspects of reorganizations, M&A transactions, and real estate investments. Pedro is an expert in structuring private equity funds and advising them on crossborder investments all over Europe, including advising on structuring international acquisitions in Spain
He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association, of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and of the International Bar Association (IBA).
He speaks regularly at international conferences and in postgraduate courses on international taxation. He has co-authored many legal publications.
