Julia Signes

Specialist in restructuring and special situations, as well as domestic and international commercial transactions, including M&A transactions and private equity investments, across a range of sectors and industries.

Julia Signes advises on complex cross-border debt restructurings and recapitalisations, as well as investments and divestments and other capital solutions in distressed scenarios and special situations, primarily advising international private equity funds and hedge funds, both creditors and sponsors. 

She also advises companies on corporate and commercial matters and has participated in capital markets transactions and advised listed companies.

She has developed part of her career in London, working in the firm’s London office from 2017 to 2018 and again from January 2020 to December 2022. During this second stay, she spent almost a year as a secondee in the London office of a renowned US firm.

She has lectured on corporate law in the Bachelor of Business Administration and in the Bachelor of Global Governance, Economics & Legal Order at ESADE Business & Law School in Barcelona (Universitat Ramon Llull). 

She is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association.
