Juan José Ruiz participates in venture capital transactions, processes to refinance and restructure debt, and in public-private partnership projects. He also specializes in corporate disputes, as well as in advising family businesses on corporate and contractual matters.
He advises national and international companies on building and acquiring property, particularly hotels and tourist complexes. He has handled projects relating to renewable energies (mainly photovoltaic and solar thermal).
In 2005 and 2006, he worked as a foreign associate at the US law firm Reed Smith, LLP in Pittsburg.
He has lectured in the Master in Legal Consultancy for Businesses at the Faculty of Law of the Universidad de Málaga, as well as giving talks at many seminars and courses.
