Iván Libenson has focused his practice on corporate, financial and stock market law—including M&A transactions, securities issues, project finance and restructuring—representing national and international clients in the public and private sectors in the structuring and implementation of transactions in all of the above areas.
He has also participated in several securities offerings in Mexico and abroad under Rule 144A and Regulation S, as well as takeover bids on the Mexican stock market. |
His experience in M&A includes some of the largest transactions on the Mexican market in recent years. He has participated in complex financing and refinancing transactions for public and private companies, including corporate and infrastructure project finance.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, he worked as a partner at a leading New York law firm in Mexico City, and as a partner for a major Mexican law firm.
Iván Libenson is admitted to practice law in Mexico and New York State.
He lectures on law in the postgraduate seminars at Universidad Panamericana (Mexico City).
