Elizabeth Tovar focuses her practice on corporate, M&A, and real estate law. She has participated in several M&A transactions representing leading companies, investors, and private equity funds. She has also advised institutional investors, real estate investment funds and leading companies on all aspects of commercial, residential, retail and industrial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leases, development, construction and joint ventures.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, between 2013 and 2016, she worked at a prominent US law firm in Mexico City and then as a senior associate at a prominent law firm in Mexico City, where she advised clients on M&A transactions, real estate matters, financing in different local and crossborder transactions, and other complex corporate matters and restructurings.
She is a member of Abogadas MX and CREW – Commercial Real Estate Women.
