Specialist in the taxation of Spanish family businesses and international corporate groups, advising on planning real estate acquisitions in Spain, restructuring real estate groups and financing transactions.

Carolina Gómez specializes in indirect taxation, particularly real estate taxation, and including VAT, transfer tax and stamp duty, and international taxation.

She has actively participated in several real estate acquisitions. Her practice also includes handling Spanish tax audit procedures.

She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and of the Urban Land Institute.

She lectures in the Master in Innovative Real Estate Business Management (MDEI+i) organized by the Col·legi d’ Arquitectes de Catalunya (Escuela Sert-COAC) together with the Catalan Association of Property Developers and Builders (“APCE”) and accredited by Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). She also lectures in the APCE’s Executive Program and in the Master in Tax and Legal Planning and Consultancy at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC).

She speaks regularly at different forums and has published several articles on indirect and real estate taxation.
