Specialist in the real estate sector; extensive experience in construction and real estate acquisition, as well as real estate portfolio management.

Bernat Mullerat has advised on many real estate transactions, mainly acquisition of shopping centers, hotels and office buildings, as well as hotel and tourist resort management. He advises on regulatory and contractual matters related to tourist and timesharing transactions.

He also handles national and international transactions to develop and sell renewable energy projects.

He is co-chair of the Real Estate Section of the International Bar Association (2022-2023) and was senior vice-chair of the same section (2021-2022).

He was vice-chair of the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain (2005-2010) and senior vice-chair of the Environment, Health and Safety Law Committee of the International Bar Association (2008-2010).

He lectured on real estate law and the environment in the Master in Innovative Real Estate Companies at Escola Sert (Architects Professional Association) and in the Master in International Legal Practice at ISDE Law Business School. He also lectured in the International Trade Course at ISDE Law Business School and at ESCI School of International Studies (Universitat Pompeu Fabra).

He speaks regularly at national and international seminars and conferences on real estate transactions and energy.

He is the author of several law review articles.
