Doctorate and Practice of Law Program
The PDA is a program we offer to (i) students of masters for the practice of law, and (ii) lawyers in the first stage of their career that are interested in developing their career as lawyers while completing top-level academic training.
Program structure
The PDA lasts five years and is structured as follows:
- Year one: Training program for first-year lawyers, topic proposal for doctoral thesis and selection of the university and the thesis supervisor.
- Year two: Start of doctorate program on a part-time basis.
- Year three to five: Period at a foreign university and possibility of a second period at another foreign university or at a foreign law firm.
- Year four to five: Defending doctoral thesis.
