SubscribeCuatrecasas advised CaixaBank S.A. on loan refinancing for the Excellence Riviera Cancun Resort through a USD 60 million credit facility for the Mexican company Inversiones Palma, S. de R.L. De C.V.
The financing has the usual collateral in this type of transaction, including a mortgage on the hotel. This deal consolidates the presence of CaixaBank in Mexico’s luxury hotel sector.
The team advising on the transaction was made up of Cuatrecasas lawyers León López, Juan Carlos Galicia, Jorge García de Presno, Alberto de Villa, Ana Isabel Echeverría and Emilio Ruvalcaba.
