Ursula Ben-Hammou specializes in corporate and civil law matters, as well as foreign investment.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, she worked at a leading Peruvian law firm, where she was a counsel in the corporate practice and leader of its institutional relations practice. She was a legal fellow at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington DC.
She was associate editor at Chambers & Partners Latin America in London, where she supervised the research processes for various legal markets in Latin America.
She has led many international projects aimed at achieving greater diversity and inclusion in the legal sector.
She is mentorship officer on the Women Lawyers’ Committee at the International Bar Association and was chair and founder of the Diversity Committee of the Canada-Peru Chamber of Commerce.
