Rodrigo Pérez Devoto advises on negotiating and designing strategies for preventing and resolving contractual, commercial and corporate disputes. He also advises on (i) strategies for administering contracts, including drafting legal reports and identifying legal contingencies; and (ii) disputes involving government contracts, civil liability, capital markets and sports law.
He defends clients in court proceedings and in ad hoc and institutional commercial arbitration proceedings administered by the (i) Lima Chamber of Commerce, (ii) American Chamber of Commerce, (iii) Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, and (iv) Conciliation and Arbitration Centre of the Peruvian Superintendence of Health.
He is a member of the Lima Bar Association and currently coordinates the Cuatrecasas Lima office’s pro bono matters. Before joining Cuatrecasas he worked in renowned Peruvian law firms
He was an assistant lecturer at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú from 2018 to 2021 in the course on the justice system and the constitutional basis of the procedure, and in seminars on civil law and civil procedural law.
He is now adjunct lecturer at the same university in the following courses: commencement of actions, and interim and executive judicial protection.
