In 1999, Pablo Cubel joined the firm’s corporate and M&A team in Madrid. From 2005 to 2006, he worked at the firm’s Valencia office and, in 2017, he was transferred to Beijing to establish the firm’s second office in Asia.
A large part of his practice focuses on Chinese investment abroad.
He has acquired particularly notable experience in the areas of renewable energy, biotechnology, circular economy, electronics and sports.
He received pre-doctoral FPI-FPU research scholarships granted by the Ministry for Education and Culture, and has lectured on international law at Universidad de Valencia and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
He is secretary non-director of several leading companies in the sports and energy sectors and former chair of the Energy and Environment Commission of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).
He is the author of two publications on waste and various articles in international publications.
