He is a member of the Spanish and Iberoamerican Arbitration Club and of the Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit.
A professor of private international law at the Spanish National Distance Education University, he was head of studies at The Hague Academy of International Law (2009) and vice dean of international and institutional relations at the Spanish National Distance Education University (2008-2013).
He speaks at conferences and seminars in several Spanish and foreign forums, and has written over 150 articles on international civil procedural law and international commercial arbitration.
