Specialist in financing transactions (corporate, real estate assets, infrastructure and project finance) using syndicated and structured financing arrangements (e.g., sale-and-leaseback and off-balance-sheet transactions).

Mª Carmen Arribillaga advises Spanish and foreign financial institutions and companies on debt restructuring transactions.

In recent years, she has focused a large part of her practice on advising financial institutions, hedge funds and private equity funds on national and multijurisdictional financing transactions, and on selling and buying all types of debt portfolios.

She lectures at ISDE Law & Business School and at University College of Financial Studies (CUNEF) in Madrid. She has also lectured on several courses organized for financial institutions and clients.

She has contributed to many national and international publications, giving her specialized opinion in journals such as International Financial Law Review.

She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
