Juan Antonio Ruiz specializes in advising on contractual matters, tort liability, competition law damages actions, insurance and reinsurance, defective product liability, mass damages claims, agency and distribution, and commercial arbitration and mediation
He worked as a foreign lawyer at the law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in New York (2006-2007).
He is a member of the CPR’s European Advisory Board and an a ssociate lecturer of civil law at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). He speaks regularly in postgraduate courses and in national and international seminars, often giving courses on commercial mediation.
He has written and co-written over 40 publications in his field of expertise.
