Joana Mota Agostinho assists clients with digital transformation projects and the regulatory and contractual side of operations development in electronic communications and postal services, IT, outsourcing, cloud computing, emerging technologies, intellectual property, ecommerce, advertising and media.
She has advised clients from a wide range of industries, particularly banking; energy; healthcare and pharmaceutical; hotels; insurance; and technology, media and telecommunications. Before joining Cuatrecasas, she worked for other law firms in Portugal and for three years in the Legal and Regulatory Department of the Portuguese regulatory authority, ANACOM.
Member of the Portuguese Bar Association.
Co-author of the chapters on Portugal in The Privacy, Data Protection and Cybersecurity Law Review, 7th Edition (2020) and in International Transfers Data Guidance.
