Isabel Garcia

Isabel Garcia advises on tax litigation proceedings relating to all kinds of taxes, including company tax, personal income tax, VAT and consumer tax. She regularly advises companies on tax and their transactions. She advises clients from different sectors, including national and multinational companies from the beverage, cosmetics, tobacco, mining and energy sectors.

From 2007 to 2022, she worked at SLCM - Serra Lopes, Cortes Martins & Associados, a full-service law firm with over 60 years of activity that merged with Cuatrecasas in 2023.

Previously, she was a tax consultant at an international auditing firm and partner at other law firms in Portugal, one of which she founded.

She is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association. She is a member of Direção da Associação Portuguesa dos Consultores Fiscais.

She was an assistant lecturer of taxation on the course Gestão de Empresas at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (1987-1989).
