He is also an expert in the tax planning of asset financing and debt transactions, and advises on negotiating and implementing contracts, mergers, acquisitions, transfers, shareholdings, takeovers and similar transactions, as well as joint venture agreements.
He advises high-net-worth individuals and family groups on planning their estates using a proactive problem-solving approach, and regularly advises family offices on preserving and growing their assets and protecting their legacy for future generations.
He advises on planning acquisitions, inheritance, gifts and family assets, as well as on business succession, shareholder compensation, financial instruments and investment management.
He was a resident tax partner at the Cuatrecasas New York office from October 2013 to December 2017.
He has been lecturing in the Master in Tax Consultancy at Universidad de Navarra since 2018, and speaks regularly at tax conferences.
He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the American Bar Association (ABA) and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
