Íñigo Aguirrezabala specializes in advising on the tax aspects of investment and asset structures for national and international investors. He regularly advises family offices, private equity funds, family businesses, funds and high-net-worth individuals on their transactions and on structuring their investments. He also advises individuals and families on organizing their personal and business assets and on their inheritance planning.
He spent over four years working in the US, enabling him to acquire extensive knowledge of international taxation, particularly of the investment vehicles and structures used by European, US and Latin American investors.
His practice includes defending taxpayers’ interests in tax inspection proceedings.
He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), of the American Bar Association (ABA) and of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
He has been lecturing on international taxation in the Master in Tax Consultancy at Universidad de Navarra since 2018.
He speaks regularly at conferences on taxation and at international forums, including IBA, ABA and STEP.
He is the author of important legal publications and articles in national and international journals.
