Elena Cuatrecasas advises on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital transactions and business group restructurings.
She is an expert in the pharmaceutical, life sciences and TMT sectors, advising industry operators and investors on transactions, as well as on corporate and contractual matters, often working on licensing, distribution, production and R&D agreements.
She has worked in the United Kingdom and was managing partner of the Cuatrecasas New York office from 2014 to 2017. She is an active member of the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association (IBA), regularly participating as moderator and speaker, and a member of the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce. She is also secretary of the board of directors of several international companies and author of many articles published in specialized journals and collective publications.
