Catarina Castanheira Lopes advises on gap analysis projects and implementing data protection compliance procedures, including modalities such as privacy as a service and data protection officer (“DPO”) as a service. Since she serves as DPO, Catarina is directly involved in the client’s daily activities. She also carries out audits of clients and their service providers to guarantee and ensure their strict compliance with data protection matters.

As a specialist in data protection matters, she has already had the opportunity to assist several clients in national and international legal proceedings and administrative offenses in this area.

Catarina divides her activity into various sectors, mainly focusing on digital and technology, the pharmaceutical industry, energy, transport, and hospitality.
