Antonio Barba advises companies on international taxation, handling their day-to-day business, as well as investment projects, joint ventures, mergers and all kinds of business restructuring. He leads complex international financing projects, including the building and managing of build-operate-transfer (BOT) projects, e.g., desalination, electrical installations, highways and transmission lines, and handles asset acquisition, mainly ships, airplanes and renewable energy assets.
He lectures on EU tax law and international tax planning in several law-related master programs at IE Business School and ESADE Business & Law School.
He coordinates the Group of experts in international taxation and transfer pricing of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors and coordinates the tax practice of the Cuatrecasas Research Chair at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
He is the author of several law review articles in specialized journals.
