Counsel for the state on leave of absence; expert in public law and judicial reviews, defending and strategically advising private companies and public-sector entities on matters and lawsuits of an administrative nature.

Alejandro Auset advises clients on administrative proceedings and judicial reviews related to public tenders; authorizations and concessions; disciplinary and expropriation proceedings and proceedings involving the public administration’s liability in areas such as maritime-land public domain, ports, transport, tourism and the audiovisual and entertainment sector.

He advises private-sector clients on (i) the regime for exports and imports affected by international penalties; (ii) the regime for direct foreign investment control in Spain; and (iii) the regime for public subsidies, specifically those financed with European structural and Next Generation EU funds.

He lectures on the executive training programs at IESE Business School and on administrative law at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.

He speaks regularly at seminars and is the author of articles on different areas of public law.
