Ainhoa Buenetxea Roy regularly advises Spanish and foreign companies on corporate and commercial matters, multijurisdictional M&A transactions, due diligence procedures, joint ventures, and business group restructurings. She has also drafted and negotiated a wide range of contracts and commercial agreements.
She successfully completed the International Program for Young Lawyers (PPAI) at Cuatrecasas, rotating through the firm’s different offices, including Barcelona, Madrid and Mexico City.
From 2022 to 2023, she worked as an international associate in the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where she mainly focused on commercial transactions involving Latin America.
She is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association. She lectured on the Bachelor of Business Administration and Management in English at ESADE Business & Law School.
