SubscribeCuatrecasas has advised Stracon Holdings, an Ashmore Group plc portfolio company, on a $125 million syndicated financing under New York law, structured by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. The structure included providing a guarantee package in the Chile and Peru jurisdictions.
Stracon Holdings, the leading provider of integrated solutions for the mining industry, will use these funds for various corporate purposes. Over a year ago, Cuatrecasas also advised the Stracon Group on acquiring the entire shareholding of AMECO Chile S.A. and AMECO Perú S.R.L.
Cuatrecasas lawyers Oscar Trelles, together with Kiomi Osorio, led the legal counsel in this financing transaction, with the support of Macarena Ravinet, Federico Espinosa, José Agüero, Augusto Hostia and Valeria Abarca.
