Latest edition of Welcome Program: Cuatrecasas welcomes 62 new employees

On July 22–24, Cuatrecasas held its latest Welcome Program for the 62 new employees that joined the firm between April 1 and July 22, 2024. 

Of the total new hires, 27 joined the firm’s offices in Spain (1 in Alicante, 15 in Barcelona, 1 in Girona, 8 in Madrid, 1 in Málaga, and 1 in Zaragoza), 23 in Latin America (4 in Bogotá, 5 in Mexico City, 6 in Lima, and 8 in Santiago), 11 in Portugal (9 in Lisbon and 2 in Porto) and 1 in Shanghai. The positions are distributed as follows: 4 assistants, 9 trainee lawyers, 20 lawyers and 28 support staff. 

Miguel Ángel Ortiz (partner, Litigation and Arbitration) gave a presentation to the new hires about the firm’s values and how it operates. Elsa Gómez (ECM applications manager), Vanesa González (senior ECM project manager), and Wenjie Jin (junior ECM project manager) gave a talk about Cuatrecasas Experto Legal IA (CELIA), a pioneer tool that applies AI to legal services. Partner and ESG director, Elisabeth de Nadal, and compliance director, Jesús Ortega, led the session "ESG: new challenges.”

Over the course of the three days, the participants had the support of recruitment specialists Sara Benéitez and Yael Tamayo, who also gave a gamification session to promote interaction and networking.
