Inversiones CMPC S.A. signs sustainability-linked revolving credit agreement for USD 300 million

Cuatrecasas advised Inversiones CMPC S.A. on signing a sustainability-linked revolving credit agreement for USD 300 million. This involves a syndicated loan between Inversiones CMPC S.A. (borrower), Empresas CMPC S.A. (guarantor), MUFG Bank LTD (managing agent) and Sumimoto Mitsui Banking Corporation (sustainable agent).

Thanks to this new financing, Inversiones CMPC S.A. strengthens its commitment to continue developing initiatives involving sustainable financing, in line with a business model that efficiently tackles risks related to climate change and the environment.

The team handling the transaction was made up of lawyers from the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Practice in Santiago de Chile (Macarena Ravinet Lyon, Tomas Montes and Pilar Illanes Donoso).
