ING supports Reden’s acquisition of photovoltaic power plant in Mexico

Cuatrecasas has advised ING Bank NV–Dublin Branch (lender) and ING Capital LLC (administrative agent, lead arranger and structurer) on entering into a credit agreement with Photoemeris Sustentable S.A. de C.V.—owned by the REDEN Group—to fund the purchase of the 30 MW Kambul photovoltaic power plant in the State of Yucatán, Mexico.

The $30 million financing was closed in the middle of 2021 with successive funding at the end of the year.

The team advising on the transaction was made up of Cuatrecasas lawyers León López, Rafael Rodríguez and Alberto de Villa (Mexico City office) and Irene Sanz (Madrid office).
