Cuatrecasas closes latest edition of Welcome Program for interns

On January 28 and 29, Cuatrecasas held the latest edition of its Welcome Program to receive 17 Master for Admission to the Practice of Law students carrying out internships at the firm in Spain and Latin America. The online program is designed to inform on how the firm operates and on the values that shape its DNA.

Three out of 17 students are in our Latin America offices: two in Santiago and one in Bogotá. The rest of the students are in Alicante (one), Barcelona (eight), Madrid (four), and Palma (one). Five students are doing their internship in Tax, six in Corporate, two in Labor and Employment, and four in Litigation.

As with previous editions, recognized professionals from the firm contributed to the Welcome Program with talks and training sessions: Recruitment manager, Nùria Rexach welcomed the students on their first day; Capital Markets partner, Gizeh Polo shared the firm’s values and history with them; and Litigation and Arbitration associates, Miquel Lara and Javier Martínez described a success case the firm had worked on. On the second day, associates Juan Barenys and Ander Portillo discussed how Cuatrecasas provides a significant international experience, and Marta Cabarrocas and Deo Izquierdo explained in detail what the firm’s Knowledge and Innovation Group is and how it works.

The firm’s HR team in charge of organizing the Welcome Program included Sara Benéitez, Carlos Mario Arias and Yael Tamayo, who gave the students all the necessary information and support to develop their practice areas.
