SubscribeFor the fourth year in a row, Cuatrecasas calls for participants for the new edition of the Cuatrecasas Challenge. This competition has become a benchmark in Spain in the business law field, as it offers participants the opportunity to resolve and defend a practical case before one of the firm's internal courts. It is aimed at final year undergraduate law students (degree or dual degree programs) from Spanish universities, who have an excellent academic record and an advanced or higher level of English.
After the selection process, a total of 16 students organized into pairs, will have to resolve and defend a practical case before an expert court made up of the firm's partners. The competition has two stages: one written and one oral where participants can demonstrate their legal knowledge, as well as their procedural, debating and public speaking skills.
The four finalists, including the winning and runner-up teams, will receive financial aid toward a Master for Admission to the Practice of Law or a dual master’s degree program with a specialization. They will also have the opportunity to carry out an internship at the firm in their preferred practice area.
The submission period for students will close at midnight on October 31, 2024. Students interested in taking part in this challenge must register individually using this link, attaching an updated CV, academic record and letter of motivation. Once the participants have been selected, they will be put into the pairs that will play a leading role in this fourth edition.
