Colombia’s ANI and INVÍAS road toll rates to increase by 4.64%

Colombia’s Ministerial Resolution No. 20243040035675, of July 31, 2024, by the Ministry of Transport, increases the toll rates of vehicles transiting through national territory using toll booths managed by the National Roads Institute (“INVÍAS”) and the National Infrastructure Agency (“ANI”). This step is part of the progressive return to the toll rate scheme that was frozen by Decree 050 in 2023.

The toll rates will be increased by 4,64%, representing 50% of the rise in inflation recorded in 2023, according to the National Administrative Department of Statistics (“DANE”). This increase will apply from August 1, 2024, except for the concessions held by ANI that increased their toll rates before Decree 050 of 2023 was issued, and which will be governed by the scheduled dates in their contracts.

The FOSEVI component—the contribution allocated to the Road Safety Fund—will be maintained with the increment value and conditions laid down by the Ministry of Transport, through Resolution No. 20243040001135, of January 15, 2024.
