SuscribirmeThe Spanish legislation has been improved to attract talent, high-tech projects and wealthy families. Golden Visa programs are in place, as well as tax incentives for those coming to Spain to work on or manage projects.
This article will review the so-called Spanish impatriate regime, also known as the Beckham Law, since it was the introduction of this legislation in 2003 that facilitated David Beckham's decision to come and play for Real Madrid. The article also reviews Spanish Golden Visa programs that are of great interest to families and individuals entering Spain from outside the European Union and the European Economic Area as well as the procedures for obtaining Spanish nationality which are open to nationals of Latin American countries, Andorra, the Philippines, Equatorial Guinea, Portugal or persons of Sephardic origin.
