Serena Cabrita Neto advises different multinational groups on transactions and operations in the energy, industry and finance sectors. She handles tax litigation, representing large national and international companies in important cases before the tax courts and also advises private clients, working with key national and international clients.
She is acknowledged by the Portuguese Bar Association as a specialist in tax law. She has been an arbitrator for tax at Centro de Arbitragem Administrativa (CAAD) since 2011.
She is a guest lecturer at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where she lectures on tax law in the Bachelor of Laws. Since 2009, she has been in charge of the subjects Advanced issues on Personal Income Tax and Tax Proceedings in the Postgraduate studies in Taxation, and is co-director of the subject Litigation and Arbitration in the Master in Taxation.
She has authored several articles and publications on her specialty and is co-author to Manual de Contencioso e Arbitragem (Manual of Litigation and Arbitration), edited in 2017.
She is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association.
